Interdisciplinary approach of Occupational Therapy in COVID-19

  • The conference presentations started post lunch on 18th and continued till evening 5:30
  • The second day started from 9 am and ended till 6 in the evening.

AOT( Association of occupational therapists) A state branch of AIOTA, has successfully conducted a Two days' E-conference titled "Interdisciplinary approach of Occupational Therapy in COVID-19" with 185 participants attending the sessions.

The event started with a Welcome note by the convener and organizer Dr. Deepak Ganjiwale. The esteemed faculties who were to conduct different sessions in the event were also introduced by Dr. Deepak in the session. This was followed by a Pre-conference one hour Splinting webinar.

The pre-conference webinar on 'Splinting' (Kleinert's Splint) was conducted on 18th July morning, by Dr. Deepak Ganjiwale. This was attended by 88 participants (both OT professionals and students of Oth.) across the nation. The webinar was acclaimed to be very useful and was highly appreciated by the participants.

There were 15 posters presented by the different year undergraduate students of occupational therapy colleges from all over India. The poster presentation session was facilitated by Dr. Anu and assessed and evaluated by Dr. Kelvin(OTh.), Dr. Ronak(OTh.) and Mrs. Jaishree(Research, Statistics & Public Health).

Informal feedback taken from the participants at the end of the conference indicated the grand success of the event.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Brajesh Mishra and the event was concluded.

The entire event was done on single meeting ID on Cisco WebEx meeting application.
